How long does it take to burn calories?  It might surprise you!  Some of those every day errands and chores around the house can erase those calories before they hit your hips!  

I am sure that you have heard the old saying, "Laughter is the Best Medicine".  Well did you know that you can also burn calories by laughing?  Sounds like a win, win situation to me!  How about shopping?  You have heard it before, "Shop Till you Drop".  Well there is more behind that famous quote. Besides dropping $100 on that cute little summer dress, you can actually drop calories while you shop as well!

In this segment, I will show you how easy it is to burn calories doing the activities you do every day and also give you a guide to the calories burned from low intensity to high intensity exercise.

Do you want to learn a new way to take pressure off your knees but continue to get heart healthy aerobic exercise? Try walking backwards! It puts less strain on your patellofemoral joint, the joint that connects your kneecap to your thigh bone. If you like to skate, try skating backwards, but don't do this unless you are a complete novice. Falling could certainly defeat the whole purpose.
